Deadly Russian attack on Ukraine ridicules U.S. ceasefire efforts

Attack angers Trump

The attack, according to sources in Kyiv, killed close to or more than a dozen people and wounded more than 70. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy says more pressure has to be put on Russia.

U.S. President Donald Trump, in his strongest statement against Moscow to date, responded in a post on his Truth Social account, saying:

“I am not happy with the Russian strikes on KYIV. Not necessary, and very bad timing. Vladimir, STOP! 5000 soldiers a week are dying. Lets get the Peace Deal DONE!”
